Fenton Passback is an organization committed to providing underprivileged children locally and world-wide with soccer equipment. Fenton Passback was founded in 2007 by Alex Kehm. Alex partnered with the U. S. Soccer Foundation Passback program in an effort to solicit donations in the St. Louis area.

The Passback program is one of the cornerstones of the U.S. Soccer Foundation (the major charitable arm of soccer in the United States and Major League Soccer). The Passback program is a joint effort between the U. S. Soccer Foundation, Eurosport, and Major League Soccer to help meet the soccer uniform and equipment needs of all communities, regardless of income, gender, or location.

What Fenton Passback accepts

Fenton Passback will be accepting donations of new and gently-used soccer equipment. Gently-used refers to any equipment that is not ruined, torn, or excessively dirty-anything that could be used again. Donations of all kinds are acceptable. Fenton Passback will take anything a soccer player can use - including jerseys, shorts, shin guards, cleats, balls, bags, warm-ups and water bottles. Jerseys do not have to be in complete sets and it does not matter if they have logos or numbers on them. Having used gear is better than having none at all!

How to donate to Fenton Passback

Donations are accepted throughout the year by contacting akehm@fentonpassback.com.  Fenton Passback also conducts annual collections at St. Louis area Soccer facilities. Please see the Calendar of Events on this site for specific times and locations. Through your generous donations Fenton Passback is able to enrich lives through soccer and provide desperately needed equipment to hundreds of kids who don’t have the means to get equipment on their own. Monetary donations are also accepted. Checks should be made out to the "U.S. Soccer Foundation" and in the memo line; they should say they would like the donation to go to the Passback Program. If you would like to make a monetary donation please contact akehm@fentonpassback.com for mailing addresses.

Fenton Passback is involved in an exciting project with the U.S. Soccer Foundation.  In an effort to raise awareness about Passback, Fenton Passback and the U.S. Soccer Foundation are planning to break the World Record for the Longest Chain of Shoes at the 2009 NSCAA Convention (held in St. Louis, MO, January 17 at 2 p.m.).  The current record stands at 10,500 shoes!

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

We did it!

Fenton Passback assisted in collecting shoes and participated in the Guinness World Records breaking ceremony!

Thanks to support from Eurosport, the NSCAA, and all of the volunteers and supporters of this effort the Foundation collected (and tied together!) 11,904 cleats to break the World Record for Longest Chain of Shoes on January 17th. The Foundation distributed all of the new and gently used soccer cleats and athletic footwear to support urban soccer programs throughout the United States

A ceremony was held at 2:00 PM the America's Center Convention Complex on January 17th  to tie the last 5 pairs of cleats and to celebrate the breaking of the World Record. The following representatives had the honor of tying the last pairs of cleats:
- Lawrence Cann, Passback Recipient, Street Soccer USA
- Alex Kehm, Passback Star
- Sarah Pickens, Passback Program, U.S. Soccer Foundation
- Durward Williams (Passback Program, Eurosport)
- Rudy Zimmerman (NSCAA)
